2006 SASA OPEN WATER Programme

2006 was the first year of the new SASA Grand Prix format where swimmers took part in a number of races with an overall winner. There were 7 races in the series from which the swimmer counted the best 4 finishes to their overall score. The list of counting events was be:                                                                                     West District - 8th July - Loch Ard                                               Midland District - 15th July - Loch Earn                                             East District - 22nd July - Lochore Meadows                                     Scottish Championship - 23rd July – Loch Rannoch                               Scottish Championship - 2Km & 5Km - 12th August - Lochore Meadows                  Scottish Championship - 4x500m Relay - 12th August- Lochore Meadows                North District - 9th September - Loch Oich
